What are Common and Preferred Shares
If the names of the owners are not specified on a valuable document, it is called a registered share. If the names are not specified and it grants the rights of the acquirer to the person who possesses it, it is called a bearer share. Registered valuable documents are safer today. If the shares are lost or fall into the hands of malicious individuals, bearer shares can be easily disposed of. This is because the rights holders of the shares are the ones who possess them. The transfer of bearer shares occurs through delivery, while the transfer of registered shares occurs through endorsement. Endorsement is the process of transferring the rights on a valuable document to another person. It should be known today that there are generally two types of endorsement. Full endorsement requires the name and surname of the transferee to be written, along with the word "pay" (pay), and must be signed by the transferor.
What are Full Endorsement and Blank Endorsement
Blank endorsement, on the other hand, is written only with the word "pay" without specifying names, and must be signed by the transferor accordingly.
