How to Learn Foot Types

Normal Foot Type

One of the most curious topics for people is how to learn their foot types. Accordingly, wet foot and paper tests are performed in the most effective ways to learn them. To learn your foot types, wet your feet and then step on a piece of paper where a footprint can be left. After this application, when you look at the footprint, you will quickly realize that you have one of the three very common foot types. This application will be very helpful in choosing the right sports shoes and other shoe models. Each foot may not perfectly fit into one of these three types, but by applying this test, you can determine the shape your foot is closest to and make your shoe choices accordingly in a short time. These foot types are determined as normal foot, flat foot, and high arch foot. In feet of this type, if there is a natural arch in the footprint and also a trained band along the inner line in the sections connecting the heel area to the toe area, we can say that it is a normal foot impression, and sports canvas shoe models are comfortably used.

Flat Foot Type

In normal feet, the sections other than the heel also show a shock-absorbing property by rolling correctly. Both sides of the shoes wear out equally, and if you have feet of these shapes and types, a shoe model with a suitable combination of support and cushioning is recommended. If your entire sole is visible in your footprint, and at the same time, there is no arch on the inside, then the foot arch is low. At this point, attention should be paid to the use of sports canvas shoes and other different types of footwear. Low arch is called overpronation, which means flat foot, and it indicates that the feet are turning inward. These foot types are a great shock absorber, and for these reasons, they are very prone to injuries. Flat feet can cause extra wear on the outside of the heel area and the inner forefoot of shoes. It is recommended to use shoe models with motion control features and maximum support.
