What Do Polls Say?

The acceptance of the constitutional amendment for the presidential system has taken center stage in the political and national agenda. Supporters and opponents are relentlessly continuing their efforts to inform and persuade the public by presenting their valid reasons. Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım initiated a new topic of discussion by stating, 'We are saying yes because HDP, CHP, and FETÖ are saying no.' Polls indicate that the 'no' votes are higher, but undecided voters are expected to vote 'yes.' The CHP has launched a large-scale campaign across the country saying no to this referendum. In their campaigns, the CHP states that this is not a party issue but a national issue, and therefore they are not using their party flags. The referendum is expected to take place on April 16.
